Our latest panorama viewing system, provides viewers with a fullscreen panoramic virtual tour, complete with dynamically generated links (hotspots) inside the panorama to other panoramas in the area. Each hotspot provides a preview image of the panorama from that spot as well as distance and bearings to that panorama, while at the same time updating the map to show where that panorama is located on the map. The viewer may also control the panorama by mousing over the links on the map.

Sounds complicated, click the image below, go to the site and give it a try….it is extremely simple, and a lot of fun.

While our ‘Pano’ offering above focuses on the high resolution panorama & local region, our ‘Maps’ site takes in the whole of Australia, offering over 3500 virtual tours in a very easy to find and view format. There are 7 methods for moving around the map to locate content, as well as thumbnail views & text views on the right side bar. Users can also grab direct link URL’s to the map & small panorama they’re viewing via the ‘Map Link’ on the main menu. Finally the map can display accommodation, food, tours and other items in addition to panoramas via the jump menu on the main menu bar.

Viewers of the ‘Maps’ site can also have high resolution full screen views, by clicking on the ‘Go Full Screen’ link on each small panorama. (This view doesn’t contain the dynamic hotspots & side map of the pano.panedia.com system shown above)

wallpaper.panedia.com (Launched March 2008)

Our wallpaper site is another variation on the high quality content library we have at Panedia. It is the only site in the world* that provides every wallpaper in all standard sizes from 800×600 to 2560×1600 for single, dual & triple monitor computers. Every weekday, a new and amazing image is released on the site, which contains a mixture of free and members wallpapers.

At present we use a subscription model for members content, but if your national or multinational company would like to sponsor the site and give away our incredible content (either from our site or yours), then please get in contact. We’d like nothing better than to promote Australia with these unique wallpapers by offering them for free to everyone.
